Job Description

What the Successful Travel Coordinator will be expected to do:

3. Coordinate and manage all travel arrangements for employees, including flights, accommodation, and transport.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with travel suppliers and negotiate cost-effective agreements.
5. Ensure compliance with the company's travel policies and procedures.
6. Monitor travel budgets and provide cost-saving recommendations where applicable.
7. Resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies promptly and efficiently.
8. Maintain accurate records of travel schedules and expenses.
9. Prepare reports on travel expenditures and supplier performance.
10. Collaborate with the other business units to ensure smooth operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Travel Coordinator should have:

11. Experience in travel planning or coordination within a professional environment.
12. Strong organisational and time management skills.
13. Proficiency in managing budgets and negotiating with suppliers.
14. Knowledge of procurement processes and compliance policies.
15. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
16. Proficiency in using travel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
