About The Technical Author Role
1. Are you a Technical Author seeking a new challenge? Do you enjoy working in an agile environment within an innovative, collaborative culture?
We are looking for a Technical Author with experience in a software delivery environment, capable of producing high-quality product documentation for our customers. You will work on various software products, taking ownership of creating and maintaining user guides, release notes, and product enhancements. You will collaborate closely with product, development, and support teams to develop reference materials that clarify features and functionalities.
Joining our Service Management department, you will have a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills. Your role will involve creating and reviewing technical documentation for diverse audiences, with a focus on continuous delivery and meeting deadlines.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
* Experience in creating and reviewing customer-facing user materials
* Proven experience within a software delivery function
* Knowledge of agile methodologies, preferably Scrum and Kanban
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, development teams, and product owners
* Strong focus on quality, with experience producing clear, high-quality documentation using appropriate language and graphics
* Customer-oriented attitude and ability to meet deadlines
* Willingness to learn and develop professionally
* Awareness of single-sourcing methodologies
Additional Beneficial Skills
* Experience with technical authoring tools such as MadCap Flare or Adobe RoboHelp
* Knowledge of version control systems like Git
* Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
