Transport Office Assistant / Administrator

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
We are looking to employ a Transport Office Assistant / Administrator to support our busy transport office.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working in a transport office and be confident handling day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* General office administration, filing, and record keeping
* Organizing and communicating with drivers
* Sending and receiving text messages to and from drivers
* Liaising with customers and drivers via telephone
* Updating internal systems and making accurate notes
* Supporting office staff and responding to queries throughout the day
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a transport office environment
* Confident using computers and multiple business applications
* Strong communication skills (telephone and written)
* Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks
* Willingness to learn our operating system and follow instructions from senior staff
* Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Kings Norton
* Flexible attitude to hours of work, as there maybe occasions they will need to support after SWH.
