We’re looking for a Grounds Maintenance Working Supervisor to join our busy team. You’ll play a key role in keeping our sites looking their best while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. What you’ll do: Carrying out routine and specialised grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, strimming, spraying, litter picking, planting, and pruning. Managing equipment, vehicles, tools, and work sites to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and ready for use. Collaborating with your team to deliver high-quality results and maintain smooth workflows. Following company and client systems, procedures, and technology for recording work. Complying with all Health & Safety and Environmental policies, using PPE correctly, and identifying potential risks. Actively seeking ways to improve processes, efficiency, and sustainability on site. Maintaining a professional appearance and representing the company positively at all times. What we’re looking for: Practical experience in grounds maintenance. Ability to operate machinery and vehicles safely. Basic IT literacy and competence with mobile devices. Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices. Excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Physical fitness to carry out demanding tasks. Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work independently when needed. Desirable skills and qualifications: GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent). Full, clean UK driving licence. Formal horticultural qualifications. PA1 & PA6a spraying qualifications.
