About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Real Estate Finance Paralegal to join the team. You will support a team of partners and lawyers on high-volume property finance transactions, providing both legal and administrative support. This role is ideal for someone with previous property experience looking to develop their legal career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Real Estate Finance team on live transactions and administrative tasks
* Open new client files and liaise with clients and other solicitors
* Draft finance and security documents using precedent templates
* Handle redemptions, further advances, and completion administration
* Carry out property searches and liaise with the Land Registry
* Submit applications to Land Registry and Companies House as required
* Prepare Lease Reports, document summaries, and documents for signature on DocuSign
* Assist with photocopying, binding, and general administrative duties
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 12 months’ experience in a fast-paced property legal or professional services team
* Strong academic record, at least a 2:1 degree, and LPC or equivalent completed
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and DocuSign
* Practice management software experience desirable; Proclaim knowledge advantageous but not essential
* Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and administrative skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Able to manage competing deadlines and work independently or as part of a team
