Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our tuition centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with children of various ages, providing tailored support in their studies, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
Duties
* Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in specific subjects or skills.
* Develop customised lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
* Assess students' progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
* Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to enhance student confidence and motivation.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers regarding progress and areas for improvement.
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and feedback.
* Stay updated on educational best practices and resources to enhance tutoring effectiveness.
Experience
* Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children of varying ages.
* Familiarity with special education practices is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents.
* A background in education or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
