We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Geography to lead our dynamic and forward-thinking department from January 2026. About the Role
As Head of Geography, you will:
Lead and manage the Geography department, shaping curriculum delivery from KS3 through to A-Level.
Inspire students through engaging, relevant, and challenging lessons.
Support and develop a team of committed geography teachers.
Play a key role in promoting a love for the subject and embedding a culture of high expectations.
What We’re Looking For
A qualified teacher with QTS and a strong academic background in Geography.
Proven experience teaching at KS3–KS5, with a track record of excellent outcomes.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff and students alike.
A commitment to inclusive education and to the wider life of the school.
