Job Description
1. Oversee and manage all phases of residential construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
3. Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to ensure project goals are met.
4. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
5. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
6. Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes.
7. Provide leadership and guidance to construction teams, promoting a collaborative work environment.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in construction management.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Director of Construction should have:
9. Extensive experience in residential construction, including project management.
10. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
11. Proficiency in construction software and project management tools.
12. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
13. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
14. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
