Overview
Emmanuel College has an exciting opportunity for an experienced safeguarding practitioner to join the leadership team as a non‑teaching Designated Safeguarding Lead. The role involves providing exceptional care and support to students and families who are vulnerable or in need of support, and responding expertly and proactively to concerns as they arise.
Qualifications
* has experience of working with vulnerable children and young people in a school setting;
* is strongly self‑motivated and personally resilient;
* has experience of handling safeguarding cases;
* has the ability to remain calm and focused in pressurised situations;
* has strong interpersonal skills;
* has experience of contributing to meetings with staff, students and agencies;
* has strong administrative skills.
