Heatherton school is seeking an inspiring Curriculum Lead and Teacher of English to join our friendly community. This role combines subject leadership with teaching pupils aged 7–11, guiding them to develop confidence, curiosity and a love of English.
As Curriculum Lead, you will shape and develop the English curriculum across both Key Stages, ensuring high-quality teaching, strong progress and effective use of assessment. You will support colleagues, champion excellent practice and work closely with the Headteacher and the wider Berkhamsted Schools Group to maintain a cohesive and ambitious approach to learning.
The role also includes wider involvement in school life, including extracurricular clubs, school events, trips and residentials, and contributing to the vibrant culture that is Heatherton.
