A highly reputable firm is seeking an experienced Costs Draftsman or Costs Lawyer to join its specialist costs team. * Prepare Bills of Costs for detailed assessment and manage Precedent H costs budgets.
* Draft Precedent F bills in budgeted matters and handle Precedent T revisions and Precedent R approvals.
* Advise fee earners on costs strategy and recovery, and support negotiations and settlement of costs.
* Demonstrate a strong background in inter partes claimant work, particularly in serious injury and/or clinical negligence.
* Possess solid knowledge of Precedents H, F, T, and R, and the ability to manage files independently and handle complex matters.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experienced Costs Draftsman or qualified Costs Lawyer.
* Strong technical ability and commercial awareness.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
