We are seeking a highly organised and detail-orientated Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have
* Excellent communication skills, with a clear and polite telephone manner
* Be proficient in data entry
* Be able to work in a polite, confidential and discreet manner.
* Strong organisational skills
* The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong IT skills (especially Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel)
Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages as needed
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Assist with general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred
- Proficiency in using computerised systems for data entry and record keeping
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 22.5 per week
