The Role
To provide a comprehensive audio typing and administrative service to a Physician/General Surgeon, Dental Consultant or group of Physicians/Surgeons/Dental Consultants or Associate Specialist.

What we'll need you to bring
* Educated to Standard Grade with an RSA or equivalent typing qualification
* Experience within office environment
* Proficient in use of Software systems
* Advanced keyboard skills
* Medical terminology
* Good organisational and communication skills
It would be great if you also have
* SVQ2 qualification or equivalent experience
* Experience working in a busy medical environment
* Previous waiting list experience
* Ability to work effectively in a team
* Ability to deal with change
Contract type
* Fixed Term or Secondment for 12 months
* Part Time
* 30 hours
* This is a part-time position with pro-rata salary. The post is fixed-term for 12 months. Existing NHS Lanarkshire staff applying for a secondment must have prior written approval from their line manager.
Location and Working Pattern
This role is based in Surgical Directorate at University Hospital Monklands, working Monday to Friday. Applicants may be considered for similar roles in other locations.
