Job Description
This role involves providing porter services within a hospital setting, supporting clinical and non-clinical operations to ensure efficient service delivery. Porters are expected to deliver excellent service to patients and departments, respond flexibly to operational needs, and perform various tasks such as patient, equipment, and goods movement.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
* Proficient in PC use, including software and systems
* Front-line customer-facing experience
* Previous portering experience in healthcare, hotel, or hospitality settings (preferred)
Duties of this role include:
* Supporting clinical and non-clinical services by providing efficient porter services
* Responding positively to hospital operational needs, including deployment across various facilities and shifts
* Performing general and ad hoc tasks such as patient, equipment, and goods movement
* Explaining hospital facilities and services to patients and visitors
