As a Broadcast Manager, you are a strategic operator, product owner and leader responsible for raising the standard of AV, Audio, OOH and Publishing across your accounts and across the agency. You will turn broadcast from a transactional service into a competitive advantage for our clients. You will bring authority in market knowledge, confidence in trading, and curiosity in data & effectiveness. You will help make complexity feel calm, build repeatable processes, and develop the people around you. We want someone who challenges thinking, improves the system, and pushes us toward the capability level required to win and service major commercial clients. Typically this role suits someone with 5 years in broadcast planning & buying. What does success look like? Create Broadcast campaigns backed by evidence, not habit. Make junior team members better buyers. Spot commercial opportunities that benefit both client and agency. Contribute strongly to pitches, lifting everyone else to your level. Leave behind stronger processes than you inherited. Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Effectiveness Lead the development of AV, Audio, OOH and Publishing responses within integrated strategies. Translate client challenges into clear investment logic (reach, frequency, seasonality, role of channels). Use data, tools and insight to justify decisions. Build measurement frameworks that prove effectiveness, not just delivery. Deliver post-campaign narratives that drive future growth. Leverage AI to surface insights across large data sets Buying & Trading Excellence Own implementation quality across linear TV, BVOD, CTV, SVOD, cinema, audio and OOH. Apply strong pricing knowledge, value delivery and audit understanding. Track and articulate value generated vs benchmarks. Contribute to agency trading intelligence and negotiations. Identify opportunities in barter, added value and inventory strategies. Use AI to support pacing & delivery monitoring Product & Process Leadership Champion consistent, documented ways of working. Improve QA, pacing, verification and reporting standards. Adopt automation and AI tools that reduce manual effort and increase thinking time. Strong utilisation of AI to support competitor analysis and market insights Use of AI to critique outputs Feed back into product upgrades and capability development Inputting roadmap ideas into AIPs proprietary technology, Leap to help drive standardisation and process within the team Client Partnership Confidently challenge clients where it improves outcomes. Sell in the role of broadcast to clients who may not yet invest. Build trust through clarity, organisation and proactive thinking. Make transitions, holidays and staffing changes invisible to clients. People & Culture Manage and develop executives and junior planners. Upskill others in market knowledge, trading, tools and best practice. Contribute to a learning culture – share knowledge openly. Play an active role in pitches and new business. Encourage use of AI tools for Jr team members for research, learning and preparation. Contribute to prompt libraries, templates and shared learning. Here are some of the skills and behaviours we’ll need from you: Technical & Market Knowledge Strong understanding of TV marketplace dynamics, pricing and auditing. Experience across BVOD/CTV/SVOD. Working knowledge of audio and/or OOH planning and buying. Understanding of how different AV channels work together. Comfortable with numbers, data interpretation and performance analysis. Effectiveness Mindset Ability to move beyond delivery metrics into insight. Experience building or contributing to measurement stories. Curiosity about optimisation and how it can make your campaigns better. Trading & Commercial Acumen Understands value frameworks and negotiation.
