Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Finance & Customs Administrator to join one of our clients on a temporary to permanent basis, based in Avonmouth.You'll be working within a friendly team who are very supportive, have a great sense of humour and pride themselves on the work culture they've created.

Duration: Temporary to permanent opportunity
Salary range DOE: £30,000
Working hours & Pattern - 37.5 hours a week, fully office based
You will use your skills to:
1. Responsible for all administering aspects of the Compliance Department's functionality
2. Ensuring compliance to current legislation relating to the receipt, warehousing and release of excise duty suspended goods
3. Liaising with HMRC, Customers, Border Force and relevant Authorities
4. Day to day responsibility of Bond Administration and monthly reports
5. Ensuring timely submission of Customs declarations
6. Maintenance of Discrepancy Logs
7. Checking all data is calculated and compliant
8. Investigation and Closure of Discrepancies
9. Investigating Standing Data Issues
10. Maintenance of Exchange, VAT and Insurance Rates
