GSL Education are actively seeking a qualified Geography Teacher for immediate placement at a school in Dibden Purlieu. As a qualified professional, you will play a crucial role in cultivating an interest in the world’s landscapes, cultures and environments, equipping students with essential knowledge for their educational journey.
The school is looking for someone who can start ASAP.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging geography lessons, tailored to meet the learning needs of students.
* Encourage active participation and critical thinking, fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.
* Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve academic excellence.
* Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the geography curriculum and promote cross-curricular learning opportunities.
* Promote a strong sense of respect for the environment and cultural diversity among students.
Requirements
* Must be based in the UK and not require sponsorship.
* Holds QTS or equivalent is essential.
* Proactive, energetic, compassionate, flexible and adaptable qualities.
* Proven experience in teaching Geography.
* Strong desire to work in a SEN setting.
* Ability to communicate effectively and establish strong relationships.
* Possession of a full UK driving license is desirable.

* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
