Job Description
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a leading banking and financial services client. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code, with strong hands-on experience in Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for banking applications.
* Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
* Manage and optimize build, release, and deployment processes across multiple environments.
* Collaborate with application developers, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure smooth delivery pipelines
* Support cloud/on-prem hybrid infrastructure (AWS / Azure / Private Cloud).
* Troubleshoot environment and deployment issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
* Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices using Ansible, Terraform, and Git.
* Work within Agile and DevSecOps frameworks to enhance automation, monitoring, and operational excellence.
Required Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of DevOps / Build & Release Engineering experience.
* Expert in Ansible (playbooks, roles, dynamic inventories, modules).
* Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
* Good understanding of Linux systems administration and shell scripting.
* Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
* Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.
* Knowledge of monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
