Are you a skilled and versatile groundworker looking for a long:term opportunity in the Kilbirnie area? We have an exciting opening for an experienced individual to join our team on a long:term contract, covering all aspects of groundworks.
About the Role:
As an experienced groundworker, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks on various projects in Kilbirnie. This role requires a self:motivated individual with a comprehensive understanding of groundworks, including:
* Drainage: Installing and repairing drainage systems, including pipe laying and manhole construction.
* Plot Works: Preparing building plots, including levelling, foundations, and service ducting.
* Kerbing: Laying and setting kerbs and edgings to a high standard.
* General Site Preparation: Excavation, trenching, and backfilling.
* Ensuring all work is carried out to the required specifications and safety standards.
* Working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
What Were Looking For:
* Proven experience as a groundworker with a strong understanding of all aspects of the role.
* A blue CSCS card is essential.
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
* Competence in drainage, plot works, and kerbing.
* A strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
* Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
* Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to work.
* A valid CPCS dumper ticket would be highly beneficial.
