We’re recruiting two Gas Engineers on a contractual basis based out of our Basingstoke office. You will cover Basingstoke and the surrounding North Hampshire area on a full‑time, permanent basis, working 39 hours per week. While we’ll try to keep you local, you may need to travel to and work from any of our other sites across Hampshire to help other teams when needed.
We’ll provide you with a van & fuel card for your travel. You’ll also participate in the emergency on‑call rota, which is paid at competitive rates. You’ll have access to a performance‑related bonus scheme based around productivity.

Role Overview
As a gas engineer, you’ll carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing of domestic boilers and appliances in line with gas safety regulations. You’ll identify faults and test controls to ensure they’re fully operational. Gas safety checks will be completed in accordance with guidance and regulations, and you’ll complete all necessary paperwork to fulfill our obligations. You’ll interact with our customers and help them understand how to use their heating and appliances effectively, so strong communication skills are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
* CCN1, CEN, HTR, unvented and CPA technical qualifications – you must provide proof at interview
* Essential electrics knowledge would be beneficial
* Full, clean, current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) – required to drive one of our vans
* Background checks: satisfactory licence check and basic disclosure check
