About the Role Key Responsibilities Preparation and submission of personal tax compliance for a varied client base including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and professionals Reviewing and overseeing the work of junior team members to ensure technical accuracy and quality Providing coaching, mentoring, and technical support to less experienced staff Advising on complex personal tax matters such as capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and residency issues Building and maintaining strong client relationships by offering proactive advice and identifying additional advisory opportunities Staying up to date with personal tax legislation and HMRC requirements Ensuring all compliance deadlines are met efficiently and effectively What We’re Looking For Key Requirements ATT qualified (minimum); CTA or equivalent experience highly desirable At least 3 years’ UK accountancy practice experience in personal tax Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and review the work of others Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards Confident communicator with strong organisational skills Technical Skills & Qualifications Solid background in personal tax compliance and advisory Familiarity with current HMRC requirements and tax legislation Experience with tax software and digital recordkeeping (desirable) Benefits & Rewards Hybrid working model (minimum 2 days per week in Lancaster office) Salary: £38,000–£48,000 (DOE) 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays Additional leave with seniority; buy up to 5 extra days (max 30 days total) Business closure over Christmas Company pension scheme Life assurance (x4 annual salary) Enhanced family leave policies Enhanced company sick pay Employee Assistance Programme (24/7 confidential support) Corporate discounts platform Flexible benefits platform (PMI, critical illness, dental, cycle to work, eye care, cash plan – seniority dependent/self-funded at corporate rates) Clear career progression opportunities in a supportive, growing firm Location & Working Arrangements Based in Lancaster with hybrid working (minimum 2 days in-office) Modern, well-equipped office environment Ready to Take the Next Step?
