Job Description
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager.
This role reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and will involve close coordination with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.
* Ensure all relevant permits and site compliance requirements are in place.
* Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
* Liaise with main contractors and client site teams.
* Ensure compliance with EHSQ, RAMS, PPE, and related safety protocols.
* Manage on-site plant hire, tools, and labour resources.
* Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and workforce.
* Manage site correspondence and reporting requirements.
* Procure and manage day-to-day site materials.
* Provide updates to project progress reports.
* Maintain project-specific documentation and scheduling systems.
* Communicate site changes and updates to the Project team.
* Ensure project quality standards and reporting are maintained.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Relevant trade or further education qualification in mechanical building services.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or equivalent.
* Strong people management and leadership skills.
* Project management experience is an advantage.
* Proficient in IT with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
