Your role will also interact with the Global team.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with FSI values:Provide first line assistance to employees based in EMEA and the US, including the interpretation of P&C Policies, assist with P&C System navigation, and provide guidance on P&C Lifecycle activitiesAct as the point of escalation in EMEA and US on non-complex issues and queries for the Shared Services AnalystsSupport employee onboarding and offboarding processes, working closely with the Shared Services AnalystsWork in collaboration with the Shared Services team to continually review and improve internal processesCalculate exit benefits including the generation of retrenchment quotesWork with the Senior Manager, Policy, Process and Governance to maintain and implement the global P&C calendar of activitiesAssist with providing regular staff updates and communications from the EMEA P&C team and take a lead on the bi-monthly Global P&C NewsletterProactive support to EMEA client groups and HRBPs with the implementation of key people initiatives and key project work such as Talent & Succession, embedding DE&I into people processes and workforce planning, rollout of activity aligning to the P&C calendar events such as Performance Review and Remuneration reviewsSupport change or specific projects and initiatives within EMEAManage employee relations matters, providing commercial support and guidanceActive contribution, participation and suggestions to the P&C team and HRBPs including applying a mindset of productivity and continuous improvementPartners with relevant subject matter experts to support implementation of FSI and EMEA strategic prioritiesTake a lead on international assignment processes within EMEA, supported by the Shared Services Manager, Analysts and HRBPsAct as the “secondary checker” for the monthly pay-run for the EMEA & US regions.In the absence of the Payroll Manager; run the accurate and timely delivery of the pay-run for the EMEA & US regions, ensuring all employees are paid in accordance with Government legislation and that Company and statutory obligations are met as well as alignment with terms and conditions of employmentSupport benefit administration in EMEA & US with the assistance of the Payroll Manager and Shared Services AnalystsContribute to the annual renewal process for all benefits, ensuring that the needs of both business divisions are consideredLead or contribute to regional or global projects from time to timeRequired CapabilitiesExperience in asset management or global financial services business desired, but not essentialDemonstrated knowledge of HR policy and regulatory environmentsBasic knowledge of UK payroll processes would be highly advantageousExperience of working with a third-party managed payroll provider is essentialExcellent numeracy and analytical skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills is essentialCollaborate and supportive approach with great customer focusExperience in building good relationships with colleagues, internal stakeholders and external vendorsProactive approach working as part of a team with the ability to work on own initiativeOur Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) At First Sentier Investors, we value the different experience, ideas and perspectives that our people bring to the work they do.
