We are looking for a highly motivated and articulate SDR to join our team in Maidenhead. This role reports to the Sales Development Manager and is crucial for creating the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities 📝
Your primary goal is to produce Qualified Sales Opportunities for the sales team, targeting the construction sector.
* Follow up on campaign responses generated from marketing activity.
* Make outbound calls to prospects at the back of regular marketing campaigns.
* Clearly and concisely explain the value of our software solution to Decision Makers (DMs) in businesses
* Qualify leads to BANT criteria (Budget, Authority, Need, Timescale).
* Build and maintain a sales pipeline in the CRM and submit required sales forecasts.
* Effectively use dynamic sales tools like Salesloft, Leadforensic, and LinkedIn.
* Responsible for achieving quarterly & annual sales team targets.
* Maintain an average of 2 hours talk time per day (broadly around 60 to 80 dials).
Prerequisites & Attributes ✨
At least 12 months' previous experience in a telemarketing role.
Excellent understanding of software in general.
Credible and articulate, as you will be dealing with FDs and MDs.
Self-starter, motivated, confident individual, with a vibrant attitude.
Advantageous (Need at least one of the top 3):
Experience in a profiling, account management, and/or business development role for a software-related environment.
Broad understanding of the construction industry.
Some understanding of financial/accounts packages (preferably Sage).
