Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and schematics that support various construction and engineering projects. This role requires proficiency in multiple CAD software applications and a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
Responsibilities
* Develop and produce high-quality CAD drawings, schematics, and models for construction projects.
* Collaborate with customers, engineers, managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
* Utilise software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks to create detailed designs.
* Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
* Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members or clients.
* Maintain an organised library of design files and documentation for easy access by team members.
* Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address any issues that may arise.
Skills
* Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, and SolidWorks is essential.
* Strong understanding of industrial engineering and welding fabrication principles and practices. Mechanical engineering background is preferred.
* Ability to create accurate and detailed drawings that meet project specifications.
* Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in design work.
* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various disciplines.
* Problem-solving abilities to address design challenges efficiently.

Pay: £27,500.00-£44,000.00 per year
