Overview
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase in the FX Services Technology team, you will play a key role in designing and delivering secure, scalable technology solutions. You\'ll collaborate with agile teams to build trusted products that support our business objectives. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple technical areas and contribute to the team\'s culture of innovation and inclusion. Your work will directly impact the success of our Macro eTrading group.
Responsibilities
* Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to solve complex problems
* Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that integrate with critical systems
* Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring alignment with design constraints
* Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous improvement
* Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive enhancements in coding practices and system architecture
* Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore emerging technologies
Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s degree
* Proficient in front-end frameworks such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
* Experience building high-performance desktop or web applications
* Experience with test-driven development, modern source control, and continuous integration
* Understanding of the full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
* Passion for interactive design and clear understanding of UX methodologies
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Familiarity with design tools such as Figma
* Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, or Spring
* Experience with modern front-end technologies
* Exposure to cloud technologies
