Embedded software technical lead

Salary: £75,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements: We require proven experience in bare metal embedded development. We require strong low-level experience working directly with boards and hardware. We require experience communicating with ICs and working with embedded hardware interfaces. We require DSP and signal processing experience. We require strong embedded debugging and low-level diagnostics capability. We require knowledge of software architecture and embedded system design. We require demonstrated ownership and leadership of technical delivery, such as in a Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Project Lead role. We consider assembler experience desirable. Responsibilities: We lead the development of low-level embedded firmware on custom hardware platforms. We work in bare metal and pre-RTOS environments. We develop and optimise DSP and signal processing functionality. We interface directly with ICs and embedded hardware components. We take ownership of technical delivery, architecture, and key engineering decisions. We collaborate closely with hardware and multidisciplinary engineering teams. We mentor and support engineers within our team. We drive project delivery by managing technical risks and dependencies.
