Materials & Parts Ordering Specialist

This well-established manufacturer seeks an experienced team member who can evidence previous experience of purchasing/parts order and supply chain management. The role of Materials & Parts Ordering Specialist will to join an experienced and passionate team, reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager and playing a key role in delivering high-quality, cost-effective procurement solutions.
Key Functions
Supporting the wider purchasing team in sourcing manufactured parts and materials to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
Managing relationships with global suppliers, negotiating best pricing for high-value components
Ensuring all parts are exported in line with strict regulatory and licensing guidelines
Maintaining accurate records and workflows using SAP ERP
Collaborating across departments to ensure timely and compliant procurement
Preparing documentation and communications using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Candidate Overview
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant purchasing or materials ordering role
Proven success in global supplier management and cost negotiation
Strong working knowledge of import/export licensing regulations
Proficiency in SAP ERP and Microsoft Office tools
Excellent communication and coordination skills
