We are working with a specialist consultancy focused on delivering high-quality façade remediation solutions across the UK. They have a strong portfolio of projects ranging from residential to commercial high-rises, particularly in response to evolving façade regulations and fire safety standards.
They are looking for a passionate Junior Façade Engineer to join them in tackling some of the most pressing issues in the built environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Facade Engineer:
Assist in the design, assessment, and specification of façade remediation solutions
Support senior engineers and project managers in technical report writing and site investigations
Review as-built drawings, product data, and fire performance documentation
Conduct site visits to inspect façade conditions and support with photographic and written records
Help prepare documentation for planning, tender, and construction stages
Stay up to date with current regulations and guidance (e.g., Building Safety Act, PAS 9980, etc.)
Requirements for the Facade Engineer:
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building Physics, or a related field
A keen interest in façades, building envelopes, and construction remediation
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
Familiarity with CAD and/or Revit is advantageous
Some knowledge of fire safety principles, cladding systems, or construction materials is a bonus
