Overview
Applicants must be on the specialist register for Diabetes and Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine, and hold or be within six months of obtaining a CCT in both fields. This role is a consultant position within the North Bristol NHS Trust, providing Diabetes and Endocrinology services at a new 800‑bed hospital serving a population of 500,000 in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
Key Responsibilities
 * Accountable to the Trust for the delivery of diabetes and endocrinology services.
 * Managerially responsible to the Chief Executive through the Clinical Director.
 * Subject to annual appraisal as per Trust policy.
 * Co‑operate with the specialty lead (Dr Elizabeth Cheyne), General Manager (Graham Bartlett) and Specialty Manager (Jade Venning).
Qualifications
 * Specialist register in Diabetes and Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine.
 * CCT in both specialties, or within six months of obtaining it by interview date.
