These 36 hour posts are based within Brunton House, Cowdenbeath and Lynebank Hospital, Dunfermline.
We are looking for two Senior Practitioners to join our teams to provide leadership, supervise/support staff development, assist the team manager with core operational tasks and be involved in delivering responsive assessments to the public underpinned by social work values and principles.

We are looking for someone who:
1. Is passionate, skilled, innovative and people-centred.
2. Has a high standard of written work able to demonstrate analysis or synthesis of complex information.
3. Confident in knowledge of legislative frameworks.
4. Skilled communicator with an ability to show leadership in practice.
5. Experience of supervision/coaching/mentoring of colleagues.
6. Has a sound knowledge of risk and is able to demonstrate enabling practice in relation to this.
7. Ideally the practitioner will have experience of working with older people and significant insight into the challenges and opportunities this work provides.
A qualified Social Worker (holding a BA (Hons) Social Work or MSc in Social Work), you will have extensive experience of working within statutory frameworks supporting adults in the community. You will hold an accredited post-qualifying award or be willing to work towards the award within the first 2 years of appointment.
You will be required to be registered with the SSSC.
The ability to travel throughout Fife is a requirement.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
As this role requires SSSC registration, you will have three months to apply for registration.
If appointed, you must start your application as soon as possible so you're registered within the required six months.
If you need to achieve a qualification to maintain your SSSC membership, information will be provided if you are appointed. You must ensure you complete the qualification within the specified timeframe.
