Job Description
3. Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
4. Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow activities.
5. Support the preparation of VAT returns and ensure compliance with regulations.
6. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
7. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed.
8. Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and systems.
9. Respond to accounting queries and provide timely assistance to internal stakeholders.
10. You will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of Accounting Projects
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
11. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
12. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. A relevant qualification or part qualification in accounting.
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
15. Have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
16. Are able to establish effective working relationships at all levels.
17. The ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
