Finance Administrator
Whytematter are delighted to again be recruiting for one of our top client's growing team.
Due to continued growth and recent new contracts, they are looking to add to our already brilliant team and recruit a Finance Administrator to be part of the accounting function across our Group of Companies.
-37.5 hours per week
-9am- 5pm
-Office based in Mallusk
-Salary £24K
Our client is an energetic, young group of companies growing rapidly in the Heating, Electrical, Renewables and Air Conditioning markets. They specialise in delivering services in both the domestic/commercial and the public sector/private sectors across the UK and Ireland.
As a key member of the team, in this dynamic and fast-growing organisation, this role requires an individual to be able to multitask and prioritise workload. The successful candidate will report to the Management Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
The Finance Administrator will be responsible for the duties below:
· Sales ledger invoicing.
· Match, process and file high volumes of purchase invoices and payments for multiple suppliers.
· Process subcontractor invoices on accounting software, accounting for CIS where relevant.
· Uploading of invoice to accounting software from supplier portals.
· Check and reconcile supplier statements.
· Raise credit queries.
· Monitor accounts email boxes and process as necessary.
· Respond to and resolve internal and external supplier enquiries.
· Process employee expenses.
· Setting up new supplier and subcontractor accounts including the correct CIS status.
· Any other duties required to fulfil the requirements of the position.
Essential Person Specification
· 5 GCSE’s (Grade C or above) – to include English and Maths.
· Good communication skills.
· Will have previous experience of the above responsibilities and be able to process high volumes, whilst maintaining accuracy.
· Be proficient in excel.
· Good attention to detail is essential with excellent organisational skills.
· Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
· Experience of using a financial accounting package.
