Role – Marketing Assistant
You’ll help spread the word about the incredible work our teams do every day, using your skills to connect with people and make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Help create and manage content for social media platforms.
* Create and distribute information for the website, news articles and other marketing materials.
* Promote internal news.
* Support the Marketing Manager to design, deliver and monitor marketing campaigns.
* Help with planning and development of the company and external events.
* Design assets for social media, internal projects and branded merchandise.
* Build and nurture relationships between the marketing team and the wider business.
* Monitor and analyze reporting performance metrics and prepare reports.
* Coordinate with external vendors, designers, and agencies as needed.
* Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required; flexibility and adaptability are key.
What We Offer
* Salary of £27,450.00 per annum.
* 40 hours per week with flexibility in your working pattern.
* 5.6 weeks of annual leave per annum (pro‑rata for part‑time contracts).

Essential Qualities & Skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Understanding of digital marketing.
* Good knowledge of social media and campaign planning.
* Strong project management, multitasking and decision‑making skills.
* Eye for creativity and design.
* Highly organised with excellent time‑management skills.
* Enthusiastic about learning and staying up to date with marketing trends.
Desirable Qualities
* Valid full UK driver’s licence.
* Previous experience in a marketing or communications role.
* Studying or working toward a degree in marketing, business or a related field, with marketing qualifications or certifications.
* Knowledge and experience of residential child care.
* Basic knowledge of design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva).
