The Company:
ER Recruitment is working exclusively with a rapidly growing and reputable sheet-metal fabrication business based in Loughborough. This is a critical role within the business, reporting to the business owner and representing him with customers at times. The role offers significant independence to make your mark on an already successful organisation. You must be forward-thinking and a strong leader with the customer at the centre of every strategy.
Role & Responsibilities of the Operations Director:
* Oversee all operational aspects of the company and provide operational information to the Managing Director and business owner.
* Build and nurture strong client relationships, engaging in technical discussions across all levels.
* Manage client-related agreements, services, and budgets.
* Identify opportunities for up- and cross-selling services.
* Ensure the quality and timely delivery of all operational output.
* Maintain strong operational management across the supply chain, exceeding KPIs with a focus on safety for employees and customers.
* Manage teams impacting the customer journey, including Technical, Operations, and Customer Services.
* Regularly liaise with clientele and stakeholders.
* Complete administrative duties necessary for the role.
About You as the Operations Director:
* Experience in precision metal manufacturing is essential.
* Results-driven leader capable of motivating teams, fostering growth, and promoting continuous improvement and collaboration.
* Adept at managing multiple responsibilities and understanding daily operations while leading success across all areas.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to contribute to overall business strategy.
* Good understanding of cash flow management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
