Join Teaching Personnel as a Teaching Assistant supporting primary schools across Newport. You’ll help pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs to achieve their potential, build confidence, and feel included in school life.

* Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

What You’ll Do
* Support pupils individually or in small groups
* Encourage positive behaviour and wellbeing
* Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
* Help create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff
* Contribute to EHCPs and IEPs

Who We’re Looking For

* Graduates or students in Psychology, Education, Sociology, Childhood Studies or similar subjects
* Individuals with experience supporting children or young people (paid, voluntary or personal)
* Empathetic, calm and patient people with strong communication skills
