Science Tutor (1:1 Tuition – Home Based)
TP Tutors are looking for a confident and creative Science Teacher to provide 1:1 tuition in the Weymouth area. Tuition will be predominantly for pupils awaiting school placements and who are currently not in education. As such, lessons will take place within the home environment.
You will play a vital role in supporting pupils to reintegrate successfully back into school, closing gaps in their Science knowledge and building the confidence they need to accelerate progress.
About the Role
* Plan, develop & deliver an individualised Science programme tailored to each pupil
* Provide high-quality 1:1 tuition in the home environment
* Support pupils across a range of ages and abilities (KS2–KS4, including GCSE preparation)
* Adapt teaching approaches to engage pupils, build resilience, and foster curiosity in learning
What You Need
* QTS/PGCE Certificate (Science specialism preferred)
* Strong subject knowledge of the Science curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics)
* Flexibility to adapt your teaching style to meet individual needs
* Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for inspiring young learners
