About the role
This role will play a major part in ensuring the smooth running of the IT infrastructure across the business and no two days will be the same.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. completing wide range of 2nd line tickets
2. answering support calls when 1st line are engaged
3. visiting care homes on occasion
4. assisting with software related company projects
5. sever & administration
6. creating various IT reports
7. installing / configuring hardware.

You’ll also have:
8. proven 2nd line IT is essential (3 years minimum)
9. knowledge and experience of Helpdesk software
10. strong experience with Windows, Microsoft office and Microsoft
11. knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, WAN, VLAN, DHCP
12. excellent customer service skills
13. strong work ethic and self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure
14. windows Server Operating Systems (, ) and Microsoft Exchange experience
15. experience installing / configuring PC’s & Laptops
16. VMware, router / Firewall experience
17. full clean driving licence and access to a car
18. ability to lift moderate weights such as computer display units.

25. MDM experience

27. Draytek firewalls.
Qualifications
28. GCSE’S at Grade C or above in English & Mathematics or equivalent
29. industry Standard computing qualifications such as Microsoft and CompTIA, CompTIA Network+, Security+, Server+ or other certification
30. MCSA/MCSE qualifications (desirable)
31. ITIL Foundation Qualification (desirable).
