This position is a fantastic stepping stone for those considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or SEN teaching, providing valuable exposure to the realities of learning support and developmental needs.
What You'll Be Doing
* Offering tailored academic and emotional support to pupils in Key Stages 3 and 4
* Working closely with students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs
* Providing 1:1 and small group interventions linked to EHCP targets
* Assisting with behaviour regulation strategies to promote independence and resilience
* Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and pastoral staff to deliver joined-up support
* Contributing to daily routines, progress reviews, and maintaining a positive learning environment
Who We're Looking For
* A recent graduate in Psychology (or a related field such as Education or Youth Work)
* Someone passionate about supporting young people with additional needs
* Prior experience in mentoring, youth work, or schools is beneficial but not essential
* Strong communication and empathy skills, with the resilience to handle challenges
* A team player who's committed to long-term professional growth
