About Us
We are a leading provider of heating and fuel solutions, specialising in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of oil tanks and heating systems. With a strong reputation for quality workmanship and customer service, we are now looking for an experienced Installation Supervisor to lead our oil tank and pipework installation teams.
The Role
This is a hands-on supervisory position overseeing the installation and removal of heating oil and water storage tanks, along with associated pipework. You will manage a team of 5–7 engineers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, while providing leadership and support.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate oil tank and pipework installation and removal projects from start to finish
* Manage and support a team of 5–7 engineers and installers, providing leadership, mentoring, and motivation
* Carry out site assessments and ensure compliance with industry regulations (including OFTEC and other relevant standards)
* Provide technical support and guidance to engineers and apprentices
* Ensure all on-site health & safety requirements are met
* Manage project schedules to ensure timely, cost-effective completion
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, and management to maintain strong working relationships
* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of completed works
* Use the company CRM system and liaise with the sales department
* Identify and suggest improvements to operational processes
Requirements
* Proven supervisory experience in engineering or installation fields
* Knowledge of oil storage tanks, pipework systems, and installation processes
* Relevant engineering certifications (e.g., OFTEC) preferred
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Strong hands-on engineering background with installation experience
* Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational skills
