Childrens Residential Support Worker About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our clients residential service in Chawleigh, Devon. You will be supporting young adults aged 1830 (primarily early 20s) who may be experiencing mental health challenges, low-level substance use, homelessness, unemploymentor involvement with the criminal justice system. The residential programme typically supports individuals for 69 months, focusing on improving their independence, wellbeingand employability through structured support and mentoring. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support, guidanceand mentoring to young adults Assist in developing life skills, confidenceand independence Deliver and support a full employability and wellbeing programme Supervise and monitor activities of residents Maintain accurate and up-to-date records Build strong, professional relationships with residents Provide 24/7 support as part of a rota (including sleep-ins) Requirements Must be aged 21 or over Full UK driving licence (manual or automatic) Minimum 6 months experience in a care setting (e.g. residential care, supported accommodation/living) Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, empatheticand resilient approach What We Offer Hourly rate of £12.75 Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a real difference in young peoples lives Ongoing training and development Apply Now If you are passionate about supporting young people to achieve independence and positive life outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
