Overview
We're looking for a caring and motivated Healthcare Assistant to support our clinical team in delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused care within our Treatment Centre. Working under the supervision of Nurse Practitioners, you'll play a key role in assisting with day‑to‑day clinical activities, supporting patient flow, and helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all. This is a great opportunity to develop your clinical skills and contribute meaningfully to patient wellbeing. 3 x 7.5‑hour shifts over a 7‑day week – a fair share of weekends (1 in 3) and evenings. Early shift 07:30‑15:30, late shift 14:00‑22:00.
Responsibilities
* Assisting registered nursing staff with a range of patient care tasks
* Supporting Review Clinics, Fracture Clinics and Plaster Technicians
* Providing patient information, advice and excellent customer care
* Demonstrating and measuring walking aids
* Assisting patients with dressing and undressing
* Working alongside Nurse Practitioners in See & Treat
* Completing all required annual mandatory training
* Upholding safety, infection control and data protection standards at all times
Qualifications and Experience
* NVQ Level 2 achieved
* Further learning opportunities available through internal and external training modules
* Advantageous experience in an acute healthcare environment
* Flexibility and strong knowledge of infection control practices
* Team‑oriented mindset with a belief in collaborative care
* Good initiative, ability to follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload
Shift Details
3 x 7.5‑hour shifts per week, 7‑day week. Fair share of weekends and evenings (early or late shift).
Pay
£13.00 – £15.00 per hour.
