Residential – New Roads Service – Norwich Hub

Through Vital Signs, our vision for Children in Norfolk, we work with whole family networks and across the whole system to support families to build on their strengths and to achieve the best possible outcomes. Bringing together a team of specialists through a central hub, our model is designed to provide intensive short-term interventions to prevent entry into care, escalation to long term care, prevent placement breakdown or facilitate placement step downs.
Responsibilities
* Proactively provide support and interventions to families and young people to achieve the best possible outcomes.
* Implement both the New Roads and Emergency Crisis Support services.
* Contribute to the care planning process by participating in statutory reviews, planning meetings, and progress meetings as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Good level of literacy and numeracy; willingness to undertake relevant training courses.
* Ability to form effective relationships with children.
* If you do not already hold an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, support will be provided to complete it within 18 months of appointment.
* Passion to support young people; good listening, patience, understanding, and a genuine desire to help them achieve the best outcomes.
* Full driving licence and daily access to a vehicle.
