Based in Glasgow city centre, you’ll be joining a growing, integrated audit team within a well-established professional services firm that has recently invested heavily in its Scottish audit practice
The Role:
As an Audit Senior you’ll sit at the sweet spot between delivery and leadership:
1. Being the Senior for a portfolio of audit clients, predominately commercial OMB's.
2. Acting as the day-to-date client contact, liaising with Managers and Partners
3. Reviewing audit files and ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget and to a high technical standard
4. Coaching and developing junior team members through on-the-job training and formal workshops
5. Identifying issues and opportunities within client businesses and adding genuine value
6. Stepping up to lead multiple audit assignments concurrently
What They’re Looking For:
7. Qualified or part-qualified CA, ACCA,
8. A minimum of 2-years' experience in auditing of owner-managed businesses in a small or medium sized firm of accountants in the UK
9. Confident communicator who enjoys working directly with clients
10. Someone ready to lead, review and take ownership, not just tick boxes
11. Commercially curious — you spot issues and think beyond the file
