Building on strong foundations, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in securing continued improvement and ensuring every child receives the very best education.
About Berkeley Primary School
Berkeley Primary School is a vibrant, single-form entry school and nursery situated in a close-knit rural town. Driven by the core vision that "if children are happy, they will achieve," the school prioritizes well being and strong relationships to foster high aspirations and academic success.
The school’s commitment to excellence was recognised in its June 2022 inspection, where it earned "Outstanding" ratings for Personal Development and Behaviour and Attitudes. A cohesive Early Years unit comprising preschool and reception allows children to start full-time immediately each September through a seamless transition. Furthermore, the school collaborates with the CBAT and LIFT Schools to share best practices as part of a formal partnership agreement leading to a Trust merger.
The school utilizes a "rainbow theme" to symbolise its commitment to creativity, equality, and diversity. This colourful atmosphere mirrors the energy of the community, providing a supportive and innovative environment where both staff and children can thrive.
