Teaching Assistant
Location: Abergavenny, Wales
Pay: £82.51 – £90 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

About the Role
Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a well-regarded secondary school in Abergavenny to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant. This is an amazing opportunity to contribute to students’ academic and personal growth while working alongside experienced educators. You will assist in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing lesson materials and supporting the lead teacher.
* Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere to encourage student engagement.
* Foster strong, supportive relationships with pupils, helping them feel comfortable.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development offered by the school.
* Aid students in understanding daily activities and developing their skills.
Essential Requirements
* Enhanced DBS clearance, registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain).
* EWC registration (or willingness to apply).
* Ability to provide two recent references.
* Right to work in the UK, ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Safeguarding Level 2 certification (provided free by Teaching Personnel).
