Pro fuel Plant Operator – Ketton Location: Ketton Hours: 40 per week (Rotative Shifts) Salary: Competitive We are seeking a Pro fuel Plant Operator to join our Operational Shift Team at Ketton. This is a key role supporting the Shift Manager in driving operational excellence across the Pro fuel plant – a critical facility designed to process granulated solid fuel for continuous 24-hour Cement Kiln operations. Key Responsibilities Operate mobile plant safely and efficiently, maintaining kiln demand without compromising safety, environmental standards, or production. Ensure full compliance with environmental, health & safety, and quality requirements. Work closely with the Pro fuel Plant Controller to supply fuel to the process and coordinate daily activities. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and monitor stock levels. Communicate effectively with colleagues and site functions. Complete necessary reports and documentation. Coordinate material movement to optimise plant operations. Support the Shift Manager with additional process-related tasks as required. Job Dimensions Operate mobile equipment for material processing and production. Ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations, including contractor deliveries. Liaise with the Pro fuel Plant Controller to manage deliveries, stock levels, and report equipment faults. Escalate any H&S, environmental, quality, or supply issues promptly. Candidate Requirements Strong focus on health & safety. High competency in operating mobile equipment. Experience or training in fire safety and associated risks. Ability to prioritise tasks and drive efficiency. Demonstrates ownership, initiative, and self-motivation. Good knowledge of equipment location and operation. Awareness of safety and environmental issues, with relevant training. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Education & Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good literacy and numeracy. Solid understanding of workplace health & safety. Ability to work independently.
