Job Description
3. Dispense prescriptions accurately and in compliance with healthcare regulations.
4. Provide expert advice to patients on the safe use of medications.
5. Manage stock levels to ensure the availability of essential medicines.
6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
7. Maintain accurate records of all pharmaceutical transactions.
8. Stay updated on industry regulations and pharmaceutical advancements.
9. Ensure the pharmacy operates within legal and ethical guidelines.
10. Offer guidance on minor health concerns and recommend over-the-counter solutions.
11. Provide support for 2 technicians and 1 dispenser.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Pharmacist should have:
12. A degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
13. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and healthcare regulations.
14. Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
15. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
16. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
17. Must be vaccination ready.
