About The Role
Balfour Beatty is looking for a proactive and organised Administrator to provide effective administrative support across Living Places East Sussex. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, has strong attention to detail and can confidently support multiple teams in a fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing general administrative support including minute taking, typing, document management, updating systems.
* Arranging travel and hotel bookings.
* Booking conference rooms and catering, both internally and externally, for meetings and events.
* Supporting the Stakeholder and Communications team with external responses and follow‑ups.
* Assisting the Procurement team by liaising with subcontractors.
* Raising purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
* Supporting managers and the wider team with ad‑hoc administrative tasks as required.
Essential Skills And Experience
* Previous experience in an administrative or business support role.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Confidence in using IT systems and computer literate.
* Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

* Highly motivated, proactive and practical.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Honest, reliable and professional.
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Well‑organised with excellent attention to detail.
