Summary:
This role is varied and supports both the Franchise Partners and our own teams. From receiving and organising stock deliveries to picking and packing orders and using IT and admin skills to make sure stock losses and reordering is done is the most cost-effective manner.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Stock Management
· Ordering and accepting of stock
· Storage of stock
· Preparation of orders and packs for delivery
· Preparation of stock an equipment for other departments
· Processing returned items
· Stock check (using computer based stock control system) and ensuring sufficient stock is available
· Keeping stock losses to a minimum
Distribution
· Planning deliveries to assist with site opening and maintenance works
· Occasional delivery of stock using our company van
Administration
· General administration emails/calls/filing
· Preparation of schedules for sticking sites
· Preparation of handover documentation including statutory notices
· Monitor online shop orders
· Ensuring SAGE is maintained and accurate
· Resolve any issues with stock deliveries or pricing from suppliers
Ad hoc duties
· Assembly of components into final items
· General housekeeping
· Vehicle collection/delivery
Required skills/attributes
· Confident and outgoing manner and the ability to communicate at all levels.
· Team player and be able to assist colleagues with the smooth operation in all aspects of the stores function.
· Strong attention to detail.
· IT literacy
· Full driving licence for over 1 year
Desirable skills/attributes
· Working knowledge of GSM, SAGE and other accounting functions is preferable but training is offered.
Package:
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (Work outside of these hours may be required to meet the needs of the business)
Location: Mainly based in Shipton, Much Wenlock but travel to sites across the UK and our other locations will be necessary as part of this role
Holidays: 22 days per calendar year plus statutory holidays and an additional birthday day
Salary: £30,000 per year
